I sold my house and gave away many of my possessions - including my TV - and went overseas at the beginning of this year. I gave my TV to my gardener as a gift. However, I am forever being harassed by ShapiroShaikDefries to pay my TV licence. I DO NOT have my TV. The one employee that keeps phoning me insists that I have to get the gardener's ID number and his address and submit it to them and then the matter will be solved!! That way my name will be removed from their list. Besides being extremely rude to me, she has no idea what she is talking about saying she is phoning me on my home phone - I dont live at the property, I dont have a land line, I dont have the TV. She doesnt even know my surname... just calls me Mrs Christine. There are millions of people who dont have TV licences in this country - however, the easy way out is to chase people who they have details of. I have tried phoning SSD but cannot get to speak to a human being - press this, press that, press 9 to speak to a consultant - NO-ONE answers the phone!!! I have sent sms's explaining my situation to no avail. This is an absolutely disgraceful state of affairs.
