Handed over for a cellphone I did not receive

I applied for a second contract with MTN Brooklyn in 2009, I was told it was declined and should choose another phone/ package. Months later I received statements from MTN billing me for the phone that THEY had not approved and while they (MTN) were investigating they handed me over to MBD. I faxed the affidavit MBD requested and they went silent for years. Now MBD comes back to harass me, almost 4 years later- for me to pay R16 000, for a phone I did not get! Haikhona...!
