Have not received the paid up letter after paying

On the 01 March 2013 I looged a complaint against Truworths who had handed me over to MBD and had received a responce from Truworths to contact Casse on 011 4418 which I did and was told to settle the balance of R2, 716.81 which I did on the 25 April 2013 & had emailed my proof of payment on the same date to [Email Removed] but have not received my paid up letter until today.

I have called MBD several times and have been told that someone will email me the paid up letter and as stupid as it may sound really feel like that Truworths and MBD are partners in making my life because at first they said I owed them money and for the sake of not wanting to be blacklisted I paid the R2, 716.81 and would like to confess that this really feels like I have been taken advantage of and that maybe that it was a from the first place that I owed because most companies take 48 hours (two working days) to give a paid up letter to anyone that owed them after they have settled the account.

I am really worried because is three years time from now Truworths will hand me over oagain to another company and would not have proof that the account was indeed paid up.
