Mooney Ford Attorneys
JUDGEMENT AFTER ARRANGEMENT MADE

Mooney Ford sent summons 23.7.2010 for Woolworth Visa of R36 200. I contacted Lenesh on 27.7.2010 and made arrangement to pay R500 per month and requested that no further action be taken, and should they have any problems to contact me first. Lenesh assured me that no futher action would be taken. Payments started 28.7.2010 and continued without further correspondence or calls. Emailed Jay on 12.1.2011 on finding the account listed as bad debt written off on ITC to query this. Jay did not include in his answer that a judgement had been actioned 13.12.2010!! Not only that the current balance is just under R38 000 after paying in R19 000 over 3 years. I specifically requested that I be advised should there be any problems on the account!! I want the judgement removed as I have been making the arranged payments and I want the balance reduced in order for me to try settle this account and clear my name. This is unacceptable that lives are ruined without your knowledge!! Times are tough and people make mistakes but it is not necessary to ruin a credit profile when an arrangement is in place.
