Had a credit card with FNB that i strugled to pay and a judgement was passed against my name in 2010 and this hapened without notifying me and was never part of the proceedings. I then paid off the account in 2011 and have since been strugling to get this judgement removed but am not suceeding. Is FNB allowed to pass such judgement without the customer aware of it?
I am trying to call their legal department and there is no answer.
To top it, Transunion has advised that i need to get a lawyer to have the judgement removed, what is the procedure? am i expected to go pay for legal representatiive to clear a name that was listed when i was excluded in the proceedings?
What is the procedure to pass a judgement on a customer and how do i clear my name?
