Default listing still exists 8 months after payed

I was handed over to Bezuidenhout Van Zyl Attorneys due to late payment on a credit card.

I then settled my account, and upon running a credit check on myself - noticed they had listed me twice for the same thing. I brought this to their attention and asked that this be cleared. I had asked for clarity on this more than once, and had no feedback.

Now 8 months after my last request for clarity, I have account applications declined since this default is still listed against my name. I find this unprofessional, and find it disgraceful that something like this can happen not only after settling, but after numerous requests to remove these listings.
