I have been struggling with my TV licence account for over a year now. I made payment to this account in 2012 (the full annual fee) and was notified by the SABC that it is outstanding. So I mailed proof of payment to them as you normally would. Towards the end of 2012, I was notified that my account is now with MMT Attorneys. I then called them to inform them of the situation to which I received almost offensive service. After this interaction, I contacted Chris who is said to own this firm. He forwarded my query to Cordelia who then acknowledged receipt of my query on 29/01/2013. I sent numerous mails to ask for feedback to which I received no response. A few days ago, I received a final notice from the SABC for a TV licence fee that I have paid over a year ago., I've paid my TV licence for 2013 already!!!

When I called Cordelia to get updates on this matter, she told me that she does not recall any correspondence with me at all and also that the SABC has pulled the account from them. I then also found out that at the date of my last email requesting feedback, the SABC had already pulled the account, so she could have replied to inform me. TERRIBLE SERVICE ALL ROUND!
