No 24/7 unsubscription service

My wife's phone was last night, (Friday evening) and when we
reported it to MTN the following morning, the bill was already R2600,
because the subscribed to a service at ViaMedia. Although MTN
suspended the phone, they said I must immediately unsubscribe the service
at ViaMedia, because it's a third party subscription, and will continue
until we unsubscribe. Here is the part I am really unhappy with. ViaMedia
is closed over weekends, and thus we cannot unsubscribe. Does this mean
they are part of these and benefit from these crimes? Why does
these services like ViaMedia, not make it easy to unsubscribe on a website
or at a 24/7 call center? My advise to anaybody out there, with a
phone, make sure you are not a victim of this. The costs is R2000 per day.
... So by Monday we can face charges of up to R6000...
