Poor quality & no reply to queries

I purchased a laptop table stand. One of the legs broke off within a week. I contacted the vendor via their website, bcs they do not offer a direct email address, to ask if it's normal that a leg should break within a week.By the following Thursday, without a reply (a week later), I called the number on their website. The kind lady informs me that she too has no direct method of contacting them (only email) but would let them know that I'm waiting for a reply. I then sent them a message on Facebook explaining to them that I feel like the Catch of the Day because I could easily pick up the very same table at Chinatown for the same "reduced price"! Still no reply as yet. So, am I to conclude that they'll market cheap products as quality products being sold at "reduced prices" and when you query this, there's no way of getting in contact with anyone responsible?
