I submitted my chronicle medication claims on the 23rd of July 2012 and another one on the 30th of November 2012. On the 11th of December 2012 Thandeka send me a mail requesting my new banking details and everything was send back to her on the same day. Since then I heard nothing from them nor received any payback. I've send a follow-up mail on the 5th of April 2013 and again on the 16th of April 2013. On the 18th of April 2013 I only received a generic e-mail stating that they will process my claim. This is now already ten months since I submitted my claims and nothing has been done on this. Can someone except Thandeka please phone me and explain how a claim can take more than ten months to be paid out. This is unacceptable and I now understand why Doctors and Pharmacists insist that clients need to pay them directly, and then claim back from the medical aid themselves, as they are also fed-up fighting with the medical aids to pay outstanding accounts. Please assist on this matter, as I'm tired of sending mails without any response.
