On 16 Feburary 2012 Lancet Laboratories undertook a batch of tests for my daughter, a dependant on my medical aid. On 19 April Lancet submitted the invoice directly to Resolution Health for payment. On 30 June 2012 I resigned my medical aid membership. In October 2012 Lancet advised me that Resolution had declined the claim as I was not a member. I responded to Resolution that at the time of the service I was still a member of the medical aid. They undertook to resolve this.
I followed up with Resolution but not response was forthcoming. Lancet Laboratories have now handed this account over to a debit collection agency.
I have settled the account with Lancet directly and will attempt to receive a refund from Resolution Health - What are the chances???
