First Resorts Management
Time share sold without communication

I have just been made aware that First Resorts sold my Gethlane Lodge timeshare week on auction which i bought in 1991 without the necessary documentation and without communicating with me.

I have record of emails that proves they could have informed me. I have yet to receive a statement since i requested one in 2009 and no one bothered to follow up to see if anyone was willing to pay the levy.

Apparently a registered letter was sent but BY law before any legal action can be taken a letter of intent HAS to signed for and accepted by the owner.

Banks were caught this way by selling houses on auction for arrears on bonds BUT had to refund all clients because legal letters of intent were never signed and accepted AND INSIDERS were picking the properties up for nothing.

I would love to know WHO bought my timeshare week on auction and when this actually took place.

We bought the week for R16000 in 1991 so lets see who is going to try explain the illegal sale and how this is going to play out. National Consumer Act here we come. Maybe Carte Blanche
