Threatened with legal action for settled account

I was informed I had an outstanding account by the ITC which is a debt collecting company last year.

I had to request the statement involved twice whereafter I payed the amount in September 2012.

The ITC has been threatening me with legal action ever since.

My phone call with Levi on 14 January 2013 confirmed that the amount was paid in September and that he will get the ITC to stop contacting me.

I have however again been contacted and threatened with legal action.

I phoned Lizette at accounts today 16 January and have been informed that they are not allowed to contact the ITC directly an that my account has been forwarded. This was only done by Levi and never sent when my account was paid.

I am now waiting for Lancet to contact the ITC directly and remove my name from their harassment list.
