A colonoscopy was performed by Lutrin June 2012.At the time Lutrin said that the Medical Aid would possibly not cover all the medical expenses and that i would know within a two week period what my portion would be. All of this I accepted. On the 12 April 2013 i get an sms from an attorney to say that there is an amount outstanding plus legal fees. From the day of the operation until the 12 April 2013 i did not receive a telephone call, statement or letter indicating any amount due by me from Lutrin. This is just another case where we are being ripped off by the Medical fraternity. I will be paying the bill even though the operation was botched and i am bleeding worse than ever.
