I was using the steam room at the spa, and the metal pipes where the steam comes out of are not covered. i have never seent his before in a steam room, i have never seen the presence of the pipes.
In any even, i closed the door of the room and took a step back, however i didn't step directly behind me, but a little to the side, my leg touched the metal pipe and i got a very bad (huge) burn on my leg.
I was booked in for full body massage and a body exfoliation and wrap, which was close on R2 000 i could not enjoy my relaxation to its maximum as i was consistantly in pain.
When i was paying, and i explain what had happened, the response from the spa was "so it was an accident" i couldn't believe that reply. I just kept quite and left. Its a danger to have those pipes in the way of peoples legs, luckily it was not my aged mother that got burnt as it would have been a lot worse. I hope the Spa will take the precaution to safely have these pipes out of harms way.
