I had a facial at Amani Spa last night and it was very dissapointing. The gir who did my treatment was really lovely but not up to scratch. I left with my eyemake-up stil on. I really don't expect that after a facial! Also you get a robe and slippers to change in to on arrival and I expect this to be a fresh robe that no one else has used before (HYGIENE!). I found a pair of earings in the pocket of the robe so I'm assuming it wasn't washed before passing it on to the next client! Also, normally after the beautician puts the mask on, she would offer a head/ should/ hand of foot massage. This time I was left alone for 15 minutes. Not what I'd excpect from an upmarket spa. When I mentioned this to the 2 receptionists they also advised that normally you should be offered a massag while your mask sets. I also showed them that my eye make-up was still on and the earings in the pocket of my robe and they were as shocked as I was...
