I am registered for Asthma, and since the 21st of February I've been trying to get a flu vaccine claim processed and paid. Initially the claim was submitted electronically and it rejected, when I phoned Discovery about that Thandi explained to me that in order for it to be paid from the prevention benefit I must send a paper claim. I sent the paper claim and since then there's been a lot of enquiries and esclations in trying to get thius processed and all have been no success. The last that was opened was one to the systems team who also failed to get this processed.
I am now fedup with this whole thing, because according to Discovery, when a patient is registered for Asthma they are entitled to a Flu vaccine.
The claim is for service date: 21 February 2013 for Dis-chem Cape Road Pharmacy and the name of the item claimed for is Vaxigrip flu vaccine.
