I cancelled my medical aid on 31 October 2012. My Daily savings due to me on the 11 March 2013 was for the amount of R4200.
I have spoken to a call centre agent on the 7 March 2013 to confirm my banking details. They said my savings was loaded to be paid to me on Saturday the 9 March to reflect my account Monday the 11th. I called on Monday and the agent i spoke to said no they will be making the EFT later that day. I called Tuesday the 12th March 2013 and Nomfundiso (call centre) said that she could see the payment was made the monday evening and should reflect my account within 48hours later. I called today and this call centre agent (very helpful indeed) confirmed that the payment has not even been loaded yet. Now i have to wait 3 days for them to get back to my query. Firstly pathetic service from that call centre agent and her and also unacceptable that i cant deal with the finance department myself. I feel terrible for giving the Call centre staff because of the lack of urgency and ineffiency from the Finance department. Horrendous.
