Turned a sour experience into a sweet one!

On 5th of March, I booked a conference venue at The Royal Palm hotel in Unhlanga for 20th March. Booking confirned on 13th March. On the same day, I got a call from the hotel to say that they made a mistake, were double-booked and my booking was now cancelled.
I made contact with Three Cities central reservations, stated what had happened and that I urgently requried a new venue as I had called at least 10 hotels in Umhlanga and all were fully booked on specified date. I dealt with Avnisha at central reservations. She kept me in the loop at all times and called me back the next morning to say that she had confirmed a booking with the Riverside Hotel and Spa in Durban North and sent me their details.
