I visited Medicross Germiston last week on the 6 of March for a sore throat and had quite a large sore in my throat. the docter diagnosed me with flu. so the visit costed me R320 and the medicine R487.36. which rounds up to R807.36. the pain just got worst so went for a second oppinion at a different gp not a medicross. She said the antibiotics i was giving would not have helped at all. She mentioned something about negative and positive antibiotics. She diagnosed me for a ULCER in my throat. She than sent me to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. Losing this R800 from my savings account is costing me money paying for specialists and medicine. This might not be a lot of money but if you don't have it lying around it is a lot. i feel i should be refunded this amount from medricross. i just feel this could have been almost healed already if she diagnosed me right the first time.
