I went to Olivedale Clinic to buy medication. I was not aware that my prescription had expired, so I was advised by the pharmacist that I should see a doctor as he wanted me to get professional help. I went to the casualties dept. I explained my situation to one of the nurses. I was told to go into their consultation rooms. One of the nurses told me that the doctor wanted to know why I had come to the hospital at such a time. To my surprise if people are not supposed to come at that time, why then do they open.
The doctor later came and started to ask me angrily with questions as to why I came at such a time. The way he was addressing me was as if I was disgusting him. I felt very discriminated. He didn't bother to hear what I wanted to say about my health. He told me that I should go back to the place where I had got the first prescription. He later wrote a one month prescription and told me to go back where I had got the 1st script Are people not free to choose where they want to get treated??? Is there a specific time that people should come to get treatment at netcare. I had to keep quite as I was afraid that this man would give me wrong treatment to punish me. SO RUDE Doc
