With Discovery KeyCare Plus you have to choose a specific doctor, so i have chosen one and i keep going to that doctor. Every time i go to this doctor and get a prescription which i then take to a pharmacy on the KeyCare network, i get charged for the medicine as it was not prescribed by my chosen doctor.
This is the second time i have complained about this issue in two weeks. I spoke to a consultant and told them the issue. Her response was that my chosen doctor is a dispensing doctor. In all my time going to this doctor i have never ever been given medicine by them, always a prescription.
I am sick and tired of paying for medical aid and then still having to pay for my medicine, what am i paying for when i pay medical aid???
