Extremely disappointing, felt like backpackers

A number of UNACCEPTABLE issues regarding our recent stay at this supposed 4 star spa:
Our room's white sheets had strange stains on.
Many rooms did not have bulbs in all the bedside lamps.
The coffee mugs in our room were dirty with old rings of muck at the bottom.
The magazines in our room were severely water damaged and unusable.
We were initially asked to put down a R300 deposit in order to use the remotes for the aircon and tv in our room.
We accepted a price of R350 pps as quoted and were later told that they quoted us without breakfast but as they did prepare breakfast for us we need to pay extra for that.
Said breakfast was unacceptable: cold scrambled eggs, no filter coffee in the whole establishment 'because the machine broke'. Guests had to drink Ricoffee.
The pool table was completely broken, all the cues were broken, the table had to be virtually diassembled to get the out.
MOST Importantly: The managing couple were extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming and made you feel you were imposing on them for being a guest.
In short, this spa feels like a backpackers. Which is a pity as the gardens are really pretty and well maintained. Yet. Our list can go on. STAY AWAY.
