Made a reservation at The Walmont at The Grand Palm, Botswana reservation number 2543220. Cancelled the booking on the 12 December 2012 with reference 2548196. Called in a week later to find out when I will receive my refund. Normal passing the buck scenario. Eventually spoke to a lady MOIPONE KUTOANE which sent a mail to the Hotel requesting assistance.
Week later nothing happens and I call in again got through to back office at the Hotel and then got promised to get the refund resolved by the next week. Also sent mail on the 24th and 27th Dec 2012 and 9th Jan 2013 with no response.
Called again today and got transferred to the Hotel and then the back office put the phone down on me.
Wow I am shocked with regards to Customer service, perhaps it was a blessing not to go to the hotel as the service there might have been what we have experienced so far. Absolutely terrible!!!
