I want to complain about payment for accommodation I made through the flight centre to secure rooms at courtyard hotel in March 2013. I asked the hotel if I cpuld check out a day early and get a refund. The hotel, located in Port Elizabeth replied in the affirmative in the presence of a witness, my co traveller. The hotel assured us they would send a voucher through our agent because we paid through the flight centre and refund would be made within 4 to 6 weeks. I called Warren who informed me that refunds normally took 4 to 6 weeks. I asked for my refund in May and was told that refund wouldnot be given because I didnot have tangible reason for leaving early. I would advise customers to pay for their accommodation at the hotel to prevent loss of hard earned money. The hotel reservation was not the non refundable type.
