I sent an enquiry for Easter Weekend accomodation in the West Coats to Paternoster Accomodations.
I was sent an email with 2 attachements on available properties for the days requested.
On each attachement was a clear indication of rates (Off peak/ Mid season/ Peak season). There was no limit on min days required per booking. Mid Jan - April is stipulated as MID SEASON.
On request for a formal quote, I was advisedd that there is a 7 day min day requirement and I was told that the Peak Season rates apply. Easter weekend fall on 17-21 April 2014 so it falls withing Mid season.
No where on the email/attachements sent was there in indication of Easter exception and that Peak season rates will apply. On contacting the office directing per phone conversation, I was simply told that it is common knowledge that Easter Rates apply and that any establishment in the world will have these rates apply. The office manager refused to honour the rates on email and simply referred me to another website that I can go look for accomodation. It was an extremely disappointing encouner with a very unprofessional team of people that is only trying to make a quick buck. I will never use them again.
