I have send Hotel express an e-mail informing them that I'm not longer interested in their product and need to cancel my membership urgently. I am tossed back and forth and told that the branch who sold me the product will call me back and give their Cape Town head office feedback, thereafter they will decide whether to refund or not. The sad part in all of this is that i was never e-mailed anything (contract or a welcome pack) detailing my rights of cancellation and the period. Clearly this is in violation of my rights as a consumer. I am being forced to give reasons for cancellation. I have never felt so angry and humiliated in my life.
