We sent my son for a consultation at leratong hospital for tonsilitis on the 26th April 2012. This was after being sent from post to pillar by our local clinic who finally reffered us to the hospital. Leratong hospital ENT department notified us that they will call us back with a date for when they can remove the tonsils. We have still heard nothing and everytime we call them they say that there is still no opening as the waiting list is long. My son is really struggling with the tonsils and they swell up causing a scare. Its really dissapointing and appauling that a year later they still telling us to wait for a date. Its sad how the general public gets treated in these public hospitals.
