Same with dentists; most people hate going to one. I haven't been to a dentist in 11 years! I know, stupid. When I finally had to go (couldn't eat on one side of my mouth), I ended up at Dr. Llewellyn Gouws in Centurion.
Turned out I needed a root canal treatment (3 of them) in addition to some other stuff. I nearly choked since this was the kind of thing that I was most scared of.
When he eventually did the procedures, I wasn't even aware of a needled in my gums, nor any feeling with regard to a drill or other funny dentist tools. This was less painful than brushing my teeth, promise!
I now actually look forward to going to the dentist. What an amazing experience. If you're looking for a good dentist, especially for the kids, this is your man. What a star! Decent, professional, funny and most of all, he DOES NOT HURT YOU.
