On 12/12/2013 I went to Medicross in Boksburg to see a doctor regarding a specific issue. This was my first visit to this specific branch, I proceeded to my appointment to the doctor as a private patient where they have a consulting fee of R335.00. Once I sat down with the doctor I proceeded to tell her of my issue and asked what could be done. She then continued to do unnecessary test like my blood pressure (which I did not even need) when it came to the specific reason why I wanted to see the doctor she said that she could not assist me with this issue and that I would need to come back in the new year to see another doctor who would be able to help.
With this information I then asked that she not continue with me, but that I would come back and see the other doctor who can in fact help me. And she agreed that it would be better. In all I could not have been with this Dr Francisco more than 5min.
But to my surprise she still wanted me to pay her consulting fee even when see could not assist me??
Is it not already enough that they charge these outrages amounts for medical services, but now they even want to charge you for services they haven't even delivered??
