I recently upgrade my health plan because as everyone knows the Discovery Key care plans and Discovery are the worse to deal with when it comes time for them to have to cover medical claims. they come up with all sorts to pass the buck and not pay. so i upgraded which is not cheap. so recently i had a medical condition and was in hospital for a few days. come time for Discovery to have to pay claims and their nonsense starts all over again. might i add while im lying in a hospital bed they are giving the hospital the run around and i have to deal with their nonsense while half under anesthetic!!! FFS!!! This bunch is pathetic!!! now also i notice that claims that were cover In hospital under their worse plan, Keycare, are now not covered on a higher plan and they blatantly take it from my medical savings.
little do they know they our company is one of their largest accounts because we belong to a company medical aid, and i have taken all these complaints up with our HR department and our company is now looking at alternative providers.
noone needs this nonsense in times of illness at at any time actually.
