MORE Affinity Disapointment

I went to the doctor yesterday - for the first time - she requested blood tests and referred me to Lancet. There they sent me away, as I had to have been fasting and had to return this morning.

I sat in the queue for more than two hours (taken off work) just to hear that Affinity does not pay for blood tests.

I pulled out my Affinity Booklet - it clearly states the following :

"Unlimited Basic Pathology linked to the doctor visits as referred by the network provider from the pathology formulary."

R681.00 if I wanted to pay for it cash, the nurse informs me with a smile.
She also says that they get a lot of Affinity customers and have the same fight day in and day out.

I want to know WHY the booklet states one thing and in reality it differs??
Everyday I get more and more disappointed in Affinity Health!
