Horrible Attitude and NO sense of hospitality

My family and i checked into View Lodge on 15 Dec 2013 for overnight stay. We were excited, as the guesthouse seemed lovely from their website. The account was setlled prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, however, the electronic gate was only opened slightly without any person explaining WHY. I then got out of the car and was met by the most unfriendly person ever. She didn't make me feel welcome and informed me that i still owed R500. When i disputed, she insisted and only backed down when i proved payment in full by way of a copy of confirmation e-mail from them. No apology received for this. I received welcome letter with someone else's name- when she realised this, the name was scratched out and replaced in red pen with mine! The host NEVER spoke a kind word to us, she was cold and extremely unfriendly. At breakfast the following morning, i requested boiled eggs for my children and she refused. I was informed that she only prepares an English breakfast and was not prepared to deviate from that! My kids thanked her for the bfast when colecting the plates, but she didn;t respond nor acknowledge them! Worst stay ever! NEVER going back! Attitude bordered on!
