Is this the Level of service we must accept?

The owners have changed since August 2013 at this B&B. The previous owner was great and we booked based on that experience.
Arrival time is 2pm, we arrived early hoping to just park our trailer and leave until arrival time. We were greeted at the gate by an abrupt and impatient owner, demanding to know if we had a booking, and if so, we were early. We explained that we knew and were happy to return later.
We had booked for 7 days and 6 nights. At breakfast, we made a request for tomato (a unreasonable request?) We were told, tomato would only be served the next day. A day or two later, we asked if we could have fried eggs instead of Scrambled eggs if we asked in advance - we were told that the owner is not a chef, and we were to take what we get.
We decided to have breakfast elsewhere, and told the owner so, without a fuss. He just said, that's fine, do that. (remember, we had paid for breakfast)
The morning we left, we went to have breakfast, as there was not time to go elsewhere, he refused to make breakfast for us, but made a separate breakfast for the other guests. So we packed to leave and he told us we were never welcome to come there again. Were we unreasonable?
