I visited the venue of my wedding to familiarise my photographer with the site. I was shocked by the state of the filthy chairs that were arranged for the chapel service that had to take place 4 Jan 2914. The durty chair covers, uncut grass, unpresentable cloak rooms, dirty floors and table cloths at the sherry display that did not match. On my first meeting with Retha she assured me that all these points would be to our satisfaction. This was not the case for the couple that had to get married 4 Jan 2014 16:00.
I phoned Retha very concerned Monday 6 Jan 2014. I mentioned to her my concerns and asked her if she would be able to step up her presentation. She confirmed her workers were still on leave thus the bad state of the venue.
I have paid R2000 deposit and R10000 pre-venue costs and raised my concern for the presentation and services available. She said we should leave everything and that she was not willing to walk the parth with me, this was breach of contract... now she is not willing to pay back the R10000 and keep the R2000 deposit. After several dropped calls she still has not paid over the money or answered my calls or mails.
