We used this place for our wedding. We arranged two meetings at the venue for the show tables. At these meetings when we decided what we would do with our centre pieces there were lovely big roses used for centre pieces and roses that were tied at corners of the tables. At the wedding they used ugly small roses, they had half the roses they were supposed to and try to skimp on the centre pieces. I had friends running around fixing things. I also had hired items which i included in a checklist for the venue. The venue packed our hired serviettes away so they weren't taken back to the d? cor hire company and moulded and we lost R600, We still have to pay in R500. Our in-laws stayed at the venue the night of the wedding. On our honeymoon we got an email from Retha that my mom has money outstanding. I said to sort it out with her. A few days later we got another mail where we were cc'd and Retha explained the account to my mom in law but the ways she addressed my mom in law was despicable. My husband phoned Retha to discuss what happened with the napkins and his mom and Retha was very rude. When I mailed the venue later about everything they didn't even apologise or explain themselves!
