I had a foot operation 2 December 2013. All medical claims have been paid except the Orthotics and Prosthetics - Janse Van Rensburg P of the amount of R 1165.01 - First when I queried about the claim they confirmed the hospital authorization was not indicated and it is supposed to be paid because it is in hospital. Few days later I received again feedback that this is not going to be paid must be deducted out of the medical savings account - Why this is part of in Hospital events - I was consulted the day after my operation. If they don't want to pay the shoe (I must wear to protect the foot) why don't they pay the consultation fee (it was in hospital - they even paid the fisio's account) they indicated Janse van Rensburg is not professional and that is why the consultations is not paid??? This people is providing every day service at the orthopedics - This happened all in hospital and are needed for after care of the operation - I feel is it is not acceptable that this is not paid.
