When my Tom Ford spectacle frames' coating began to peel off and expose the metal below, causing it to discolour, I returned to Eye-Q in the Waterfront to see if anything could be done. The frames were out of warranty, but after a bit of a rocky start, Simone and team kicked into action and sourced a replacement pair at no cost; unfortunately they were gold (VERY gold) and unsuitable, and we believed that this was as far as they were prepared to go. However, behind the scenes, they'd not given up and last night, a new set of frames was produced and my lenses fitted while I waited. Excellent service thanks to great perseverance - a great experience. Thanks to Simone, Alet and Melissa, as well as the gentleman who obviously registered my disappointment at the gold frames, and urged action.
