My whole family has been a client with Torga. I went to Torga for an eye test and asked if it was possible to use my Oakley frames for my sunglasses. I showed the frames and Zak van Dyk had no problem in accepting them to have prescription lenses put in. I couldn't collect my order and my wife did. I needed the sun glasses for our trip to Vancouver and when I opened the holder, the frames were cracked and you could see that the lens had been forced into the frame. On my return I took to Zak who showed no interest at all and made all the excuses under the sun. He told me that if I bought new Oakleys he would see if he could put those lenses into the frames. I was shocked as his company had forced the sunglasses and broken them. He had an attitude of 'I have you money, get out of here'. I then contacted Torga and Claire informed me that there was a problem with plastic lenses and they could break. I asked why he didn't inform me of such as then I wouldn't have used my frames. She told me to source Oakley's as well. I said I"m not going to pay for something they broke. Zak at the Grove has a huge attitude and can't deal with clients. I would stay far away from them.
