Thats loyalty for you

I called the reservation desk on 04 December 2013 for two reasons, firstly I wanted to know how often I visited the hotel and secondly I wanted to know if there was a chance of obtaining a booking on such short notice. I spoke to Pam who checked on the system and couldn't pick up any of my details, I know I have been visiting the hotel for the past 3 years or more constantly and during the December period, all she could pick up was 1 booking, the interaction left much to be desired.
She then put my through to Manager at reservation, Linda, Linda although managing to pull my history was of no help at all, all she told me was that they were busy and couldn't accommodate me, she provided no assistance in requesting alternative dates. I then enquired about the loyalty programme, I was told a new one was starting next year and although I was a frequent guest, I will have to start the programme from scratch and I have to go on line and book.
I am bitterly disappointed that after more than 3 years going to the same place, they actually don't value your support not your commitment to the place. Loyalty doesn't matter to this institution, that's clea
