EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED CUSTOMER

My 2yr old daughter fractured her arm. It was such a traumatic experience especially since she is so little, and even worse when the specialist told us that we would have to have 2x operations on her arm as a result of the fracture. We were horrified and tried by all means to prevent an operation, but eventualy it had to be done. After this whole traumatic experience, we are now receiving letter after letter for unpaid medical bills despite the hospital having obtained authorisation from Discovery before any procedures were done. The lady from Ethekwini Hospital & Heart Centre (Nirvashni Papiah) has been very helpful in trying to sort the matter out on our behalf, but is getting no joy as Discovery just never replies to her emails (which she has copied me on). This is very frustrating and has definitely made a difficult experience even worse. I have been with them for about 7years and never miss a payment! I hope that this matter can be resolved speedily as I havent yet claimed for my GAP cover because DISCOVERY is delaying payment on the initial claims. Should I have any problems with my GAP cover claim I will hold Discovery responsible! EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED CUSTOMER
