I am a musician that performed at a wedding at this venue. After the 6 hour drive we tried to check in and where pushed aside and told to "hang on", eventually we insisted on getting our room keys and recieved them. The showers in all the rooms had no hot water and when we asked the barman about it he turned to the owner of the hotel who was sitting a meter away from us and reported it, the owners exact response was "who the wants to shower in this heat". Every time i approached a bar I was told the bar was closed. We eventually got served water and I found out that it was tap water and extremely unsafe to drink, Thanks for poisoning me Palala! We ordered some hamburgers from the lapa bar at lunchtime (which was also closed) and when we asked for a serviette the bar lady brought us the dirty dish cloth she was using to clean the counters to wipe our faces. We set up our equipment for the reception on the pool deck at 2pm in the 38 degree heat, when we asked if we could possibly use one of the deck umbrella's it became a huge ordeal and we where denied that luxury. Eventually we insisted and got an umbrella to us. I am so happy to never see that place every again.
