Terrible service customer care

My husband works in a call centre and has fallen sick today and needs to go to the doctor asap as he has lost his voice and suspects it is tonsillitis I contacted the customer care call centre just to find out which doctor he has nominated to go to as he has only been on this medical aid a few now and has not used it. The agent refused to give me the name of the doctor and wanted to call my husband which has no voice and cannot answer his phone at work the lady a call centre agent herself should have know that you are not allowed to answer the phone while on the floor of a call centre unless different rules apply at Discovery.
I am his wife for goodness sake because he did not sign some third party consent does this now mean in a case of an emergency Discovery will not consent to giving me any details? This is complete nonsence I am asking for the name of the doctor I am not sealing money out of his bank account.
