The unprofessional and discourteous treatment I have received from Dr Guru Govender at the Life Chatsmed Hospital.
On the 1 October 2013 @ app. 21:00 i had taken my 2year old child in for an assessment. My child had become completely hysterical after lodging a food particle up her nose, she was then very briefly examined by the Dr on duty (I did not get his name) he then asked us to go over to the x-ray department. Upon our consult with the x-raying staff he advised us that performing an x-ray would be futile due to the fact the x-ray will not show anything lodged in the nasal cavity. We then went back to the Dr however he had already left and Dr Guru Govender was on duty. We were motioned my the staff nurse to the examination room where Dr Govender had in another patient but was discussing my child with the staff nurse. I then asked the Dr to assess my baby and advise what should be done. This is when this Pompous Rude individual showered me with his unpleasant, unaccommodating and impolite attitude. He was completely Rude in having his say before assessing my child, once he had spoken and said what he wanted to be heard I tried to explain what the x-ray department had advised, Dr G
