Can't find the recording of the call???

I cancelled my discovery health medical aid after leaving one company for another. This decision to cancel was based on me speaking to a consultant, who advised me after checking on their system, that I would NOT have to pay anything if I were to cancel my membership. About a month after cancelling I received a letter stating that I owe an amount of approx R3500.00. My monthly premium is R3500.00, (If I was aware that I needed to pay R3500.00 for cancelling then I would have just paid my premium and continued the membership, as I am currently on a new Discovery membership at my new company). Numerous calls have been made to Discovery Health to try and resolve this issue but they keep saying that they need to check the call where I was advised that I do not need to pay anything if I cancelled. Low and behold, they now cannot find that call record! Conveniently! Today I received an sms stating that if I do not pay I would be blacklisted!!! I called Discovery only to have them say that a manager needs to call me back, promised twice already, and I am still waiting...
