I took out insurance at discovery for my car and house, all happy with everything from the start,
i then had to wait 30 days for my other insurance to be cancelled, i said that to discovery, i however still received a debit order, i phoned in to ask what is happening and they said the policy has started already, so a month ago i received a debit order of R3030 from discovery insure after i cancelled it an reinstate it for 25th of feb, then i spoke to a manager called prince Lewis, he assured me that everything was fine, he even send me a letter on discovery behalf to say that the R3030 deduction was a mistake, i was happy to start again on the 25th of feb, but with surprise on the 25th of Jan i received a debit order of R4412.80 from discovey i phoned in today to find out what the is going on then i found out after cancelling my policy 3 times it was still active, so damm incompetent, never take out car insurance with discovey insure, they only good with medical aid nothing else
