On Friday 13/09 was my 30th birthday, and my sister took me to Durban. She booked us at The Hilton at the ICC for 3 nights. On Saturday morning, we woke up and the shower seemed locked, and no water was flowing. We were told maintenance would fix it. We came back to the same room, and were told it was fixed. On Sunday, the water was COLD, and the same applied on departure on Monday. It was rather disappointing to spend 3 nights and have service which is not of the expected level. How would anyone feel not having the choice to wash in a shower or with warm warer. I was and still am HIGHLY UNIMPRESSED with Hilton SA... I expected more from The Hilton brand, and a much higher standard. The experience was altered by the poor service...
