Medforum referred my account to their debt collectors for services rendered, though the delay was due to late submission of claims (by them) to my Medical Aid and an incorrect ICD10 code. Charges of R122.30 were never submitted to my medical aid for settlement, and when they decided to submit this claim they had already forwarded the account to their debt collectors.
Charges of R430.00 were submitted with an incorrect ICD10 code by the hospital, they corrected the claim and resubmitted for processing which was promptly paid. This was also handed over.
After endless calls, emails and physically visiting the hospital, the matter is still not resolved as I'm the only one willing to resolve the matter. Their debt collectors-Ovag International (Shavon) doesn't want to give me proof of an interest they charged. This is appalling and the worst injustice ever meted out to me!!!
