Not approving medical script because of ICD10 code

Very sad when you have a Chronic Lung condition. Your Specialist Physician give you prescription for meds and ICD10 code which the medical aids need to approve chronic medication and after waiting weeks for confirmation from BestMed and then making X4 calls you told you condition is not chronic and that you now have a complete different medical condition because of the ICD10? Never mind the meds prescribed on the prescription is for the lung condition. The medical aids only work off the ICD10 code and its my responsibility to get the right code... I was also told I can get my meds from my saving account approved which will not be refunded when and if the prescription is approved on chronic. Bring back Telemed, the staff used there commonsense and we got service!!! It very sad when you deal with Bestmed staff who are so incompetent and not will to assist their members. I was told it not their problem and they don't have the ICD 10 codes reason the doctor need to give it to them. This does not explain how they can then say the code I have is incorrect? I now need a new prescription with ICD10 codes so until then I will be off my meds as I will only see doctor end Feb. SAD BESTMED
