As a wedding service provider this is something that has been bothering me for a while now, Wedding venues charge the bridal couple exactly the same for their service providers food as they would for their 'normal' guests, but they do not nearly get the same privileges as the family and friends. If the bridal couple pays exactly the same for the service providers as for the family and friends the service providers should get exactly the same benefits as the rest of the guests would.
Please don't get me wrong we do not really want all this because we are not there to eat and drink but to work, the problem for me is when the couple spends the same amount of money on me as on one of their guests the venue should give the service provider the same respect.
at Zambezi point they give draft beer "free" to the guests as part of the package but they forbid the DJ, Photographer etc to make use of this service... I do not even want the draft but they are in effect '' from the paying bridal couple.
At Zambezi Point there is no cutlery on the table for DJ's, no juice, no salt and pepper, no napkins, no communication. Wedding venues are cheating their bridal couples, we are guest too
